The full integration between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Outlook gives uses a number of benefits; some of them are listed below:

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Address Book can be used to email the users, whose user cards are available in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The access to and management of Microsoft Dynamics CRM address book is the same as with other Outlook address books.

Data synchronization. Microsoft Dynamics CRM client for Microsoft Outlook provides the two-way data update. Therefore the users can edit customer entries, tasks and emails either in Microsoft Dynamics CRM web client or in Microsoft Outlook.

Emails monitor. The system marks in a certain way the emails sent via Microsoft Dynamics CRM client. The reply messages are recognized as customer replies. Therefore they are added automatically to the customer database and are linked to a corresponding customer.

Offline mode. The Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Outlook environment provides the opportunity to process data without the server access, thus modifying only their local copy. When the server connection is established, these data are automatically synchronized. Any data modifications done in the offline mode are stored in the local copy and are copied to the server during the next connection.

Merge function of Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Outlook client allows creation of Microsoft Word merge documents based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM data. Thus, it is possible to send personalized emails for Microsoft Dynamics CRM contacts or to print documents on blank sheets for the selected system entries (e.g., personalized customer invitations or address labels for courier service).
