Drink-IT
Drink-IT solution is developed by Helios-IT Company (Belgium) and is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV (former Navision) platform. This solution is meant primarily for manufacturers, wholesale and retail resellers of drink industry. The list of customers includes already Duvel-Moortgat (Belgium), Hardys & Hansons (The United Kingdom), Ommegang (USE) and others. Microsoft Corporation has officially registered Microsoft Dynamics NAV (former Navision) based Drink-It solution as an international vertical solution. This means that this solution is perfectly integrated with other Microsoft applications, such as: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access; it can be easily integrated into any business environment. NaviCon Group Company represents Helios-IT Company in Russia.
Drink-IT provides possibilities for enterprise management within a single information environment. Due to a thoroughly developed excise management module Drink-IT is the ideal solution not only for the companies from alcoholic beverages market, but also for any other company operating in excisable goods markets like tobacco or oil products. This solution covers such industry related peculiarities as:

Drink-IT functional modules:

Excise management. Many companies that produce or sell excisable products face the distribution difficulties. This issue is very complicated and country related. Excise management module ensures accounting of any type of excisable goods, e.g. beverages, tobacco or coffee. It provides tools for specific calculations in accordance with Russian legislation regulations, e.g. calculation of regular excise duty return.

Empty goods management. Empty goods accounting allows to determine the exact quantity of empty containers at any given time, which is extremely important for the drink sector. Drink-IT solution calculates empty containers during both sales and purchases. This is absolutely necessary in order to determine the correct value and the available stock of empty bottles properly into account, both inside and outside the company.

Discounts and promotions. Resellers and end consumers of alcoholic products are often offered various discounts or promotions: one-off, constant, temporary. This Drink-IT module allows definition and automatic calculation of all discount or promotion related variable values from product discounts in absolute values or percentages, various types of free products to presents and other types of incentives. It is no secret that these values should be monitored with particular attention since they are linked to other storage, excise, empty containers, sales and accounting data.

Sales management (telesales). Drink-IT sales module is designed for contact-center management. It support touch-screen monitors, so the operators can easily create new orders (interfaces for right- and left-handed users are provided). This module helps to create customer orders within short and fixed time, thus decreasing considerably the number of errors. The sales module is integrated with other company business processes: manufacturing, empty containers management, discounts and marketing campaigns, logistics, general ledger, etc.

Shipping Matrix. This module helps in planning coordination of cargo movements by means of the company’s own transport. Based on the transport capacities and delivery schedule the system defines, which items to load in a certain vehicle and in what order. The final logistics planning is up to a coordinator, who can edit the automatically generated schedule due to any possible reason.

POS-terminals. This interface has been specially created for point-of-sale terminals. The user desktop contains a detailed list of all available items and their quantity, campaigns data, etc. The POS-terminal system allows to check the daily proceeds and to plan the item assortment for the next day. It is closely integrated with the Drink-IT core database. It supports both manual entry of order lines and bar-codes scan; as well as different ways of payment: plastic cards, cheques, cash, etc.

Property management. This module consists of three components: building management, cellar management and leasing (rent) and loan management.
o building management consists or the short and long-term maintenance of the entire infrastructure and installations. For example, it issues notifications to change the light bulb or to perform the annual maintenance of the cooling system;
o the cellar management sub module relates primarily to providing customers, such as catering businesses, with technical support: infrastructure services, license management, etc;
o lots of breweries lease premises to bars and restaurants. This entails tenancy agreements, indexations, guarantees, purchase obligations, loan of furnishings, credit management, etc. The component for leasing and loans allows complete management of this aspect.

Manufacturing. This Drink-IT module is primarily designed for stock planning, technical management and capacity planning. It enhances the effectiveness of the entire process, from purchasing of the raw materials to the packaging of the end product. It includes:
o accounting of all production processes throughout the entire technology chain;
o exact unit cost calculation for each item;
o allocation of general production costs to the ready products;
o production planning with regard to capacity limitations;
o accounting of reusable containers…
o quality control of incoming ingredients;
o unlimited number of quality parameters and their types: percentage, logical, integer;
o certification of each production lot. The certificate is stored in the system and printed automatically for each shipment.
This module is also linked to other processes: excise duties, stock management, etc.
